I've been a subscriber of Notes from the Universe for years. Five days a week, I get an email with an inspirational message.
Every time I get one, it makes me happy in my heart!
Because almost every message truly speaks to me!
And it's FUN! (In case you don't know, my word for 2019 is FUN!)
So when I got my message this morning, I just *had* to share it with YOU!
It's not the day you have to manage, but the moment.
It's not the dragon you have to slay, but the fear.
And it's not the path you have to know, but the destination.
It's such a perfect message if you think about it in terms of building your own business.
You don't have to manage the whole day, just the next moment ... don't think about ALL the things you need to get done today ... just focus on the FIRST thing ... and then the next, and then the next ... repeat!
If you find yourself feeling that awful weight of overwhelm, just take a step back and think of ONE thing you need to do today to move towards your goals. And do that ONE thing! Then on to the next. Just one ... step ... at a time.
You don't have to slay the dragon, just the fear ... are there things you should be doing that freak you out? Maybe you want to do Live video but it scares the crap out of you to put yourself out there and do it. Whatever it is ... one ... step ... at a time.
If something makes you break out in a sweat when you think about it, try to remember something in the past that USED to freak you out, but now it's not a problem anymore. If you can get past one thing, you can get past anything ... just trust in yourself. Because you're amazing, and you can do anything you set your mind to ... and it's ok to want to barf the whole time ... it will pass, I promise!
It's not the path you have to know, just the destination ... this one really hit home for me. When building a network marketing business, most people dream of reaching the top rank in their company. They dream of walking across the stage and being recognized for getting to the top! They imagine having the income of a top earner in their company! But they have no idea exactly how to get there. Again ... one ... step ... at a time.
You don't have to know every single step to accomplish that big freaky goal! All you have to do is commit to where you want to be, and take consistent action in your business every day. If you truly decide to take consistent income-producing activity, and do it every day, your success is inevitable!
It's really pretty simple. But! It's not always easy. And that's why you just need to take it one ... step ... at a time. Don't try to slay the dragon.
