Easy 3-Step Formula to Create Powerful Content

I was chatting on Voxer last night with my friend, Emily, who was waiting to pick up her kids. She had some work to do on her laptop, and was going to go to a coffee shop but it was closed.

Emily got resourceful and drove around a bit until she found an open WIFI connection, and so she was hanging out in the parking lot by Pizza Hut “borrowing” their WIFI! Brilliant!

It's amazing what you can find if you're resourceful enough to just look for it!

This made me think about how, in this day and age, there are gazillions of resources out there just waiting for us to find them!

Do you ever struggle with coming up with content to use for posts, Live videos or your emails? Or do you have an idea but you're not sure how to put it all into words?

Today, I want to give you 3 quick tips for creating great content to use either on social media or in your emails! Ready?

  1. Start by thinking about your audience. Who are they? What do they want? What are their pain points? What might they be struggling with? Take 5 minutes to make a list of all the things you can help them with, then pick one that you used to struggle with but have now found a solution for.
  2. Think about how you felt BEFORE you found a solution. This is a great opportunity to tell a story that your ideal audience can relate to. Always remember that you're trying to create, build and nurture a relationship with your audience. If you can show them that you used to be where they are, but now have a solution to their problem, it makes you more relateable. And by sharing your solution with them, you will be seen as an authority and someone who can help them. You've been there, you've struggled too, and now you can share how you overcame the challenge or struggle!
  3. Google is your BFF! Sometimes you can get a great idea but still struggle with putting it all into words. Use Google to search for your topic, then read through any articles, blogs and posts you find. Do NOT copy word for word what you find, but sometimes just seeing how someone else has presented an idea can inspire you to find your own words to put it all together.

Oh wait! I actually have 4 tips to share … here's the final one!

Re-purpose the heck out of your idea!

Use it in an email, use it in a post, and use it in a Live video! Why try to reinvent the wheel when you have a great idea? Share it all over the place!

To your success!
